Selected Important Documents since the Founding of the Communist Party of China (1921—1949)
The Party documents, edited by the Central Documentary Research Office and the Central Archives in cooperation, was published by the Central Literature Publishing House in 2011. There are 26 volumes with about 13.5 million words, including more than 3,600 pieces of various documents, of which more than 300 were published publicly for the first time.
The Selected Important Documents since the Founding of the Communist Party of China (1921-1949) contains important documents belonged to various historical periods after the founding of the CPC and before the founding of New China, including documents of important meetings such as the national congresses of the CPC and the plenary sessions of the Central Committee, important resolutions, decisions, declarations, notices, circulars and instructions of the CPC Central Committee, as well as important reports, speeches, articles, telegrams and letters of the Party’s central leaders, etc. This selection of important documents reflects more comprehensively the history of the first generation of the Party's central leadership collective with Mao Zedong at its core, which united and led the Party's comrades and people of all nationalities to win the victory of the New Democratic Revolution, and records the historical process and basic experience of the formation and development of Mao Zedong Thought, the first historic leap in the Sinicization of Marxism during the New Democratic Revolution and its great achievements.
This authoritative document collection has an important documentary value for studying and understanding the history of the Party's struggle, learning and studying the Party's basic theories, for insisting on arming the Party with the theoretical achievements of the Sinicization of Marxism, for learning and summarizing the Party's historical experience, for learning and carrying forward the Party's fine tradition and style, and for learning from the Party's successful practice of strengthening its own construction.
