Selected Works of Jiang Zemin
Jiang Zemin's Important Works on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. Compiled by the Editorial Committee for Party Literature, attached to Central Committee of the CPC, published by Central Publishing House in August 2006. The compilation consists of three volumes. From August 1980 to September 2004, Jiang Zemin’s 203 important works including reports, speeches, talks, articles, letters, instructions, orders and inscriptions were collected. A large part of them were first published in public. Vol. 1 contains the major writings of Comrade Jiang Zemin between August 21, 1980 through August 5, 1997 and includes 81 reports, speeches, talks, articles, letters, instructions, orders and messages, many of which appear here for the first time.
Vol. 2 includes 59 works between September 1997 and February 2000. Vol. 3 includes 63 works between February 2000 and September 2004. Selected Works of Jiang Zemin includes the Works of Jiang Zemin in the historical period of the third generation of the Party's central leading collective with Jiang Zemin as its core, leading the whole Party and the people of all nationalities of China in the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and scientifically summarizes that our Party leads the people to overcome all kinds of difficulties and obstacles and create a new situation for the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in an all-round way.
It includes the valuable experience of the CPC in this period and reflects the new and important theoretical achievements creatively put forward by our Party under the guidance of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought and Deng Xiaoping Theory, combining the basic principles of Marxism with the practice of current China and which takes into consideration the characteristics of the times, and it comprehensively reflects the historical process of the emergence, formation and development of the important thought of “Three Represents” and systematically expounds the scientific system of the important thought of “Three Represents”.
