Collected Works of Chen Yun
Edited by the Literature Research Office of the Central Committee of the CPC, published by People's Publishing House in June 2005. It consists of three volumes.
It covers 388 manuscripts of Chen Yun between 1935 and 1986, 1.3 million characters. Vol. 1 covers 145 manuscripts between October 1935 and September 1949. Vol. 2 covers 126 manuscripts between October 1949 and December 1955. Vol. 3 covers 117 manuscripts between January 1956 and October 1986. These manuscripts include important articles, manuscripts, original manuscripts and transcripts of speeches and talks covering all aspects of economy, politics, culture, diplomacy, science and technology, education, the state and governance, the United Front, and the Party construction. Many manuscripts and Works contained in this book are not included in Selected Works of Chen Yun, which means that most of the manuscripts were published for public for the first time. The book reflects Chen Yun's active exploration and scientific summary of his experience in integrating the basic principles of Marxism with the concrete practice of China in various historical periods of China's revolution, construction and reform, including his expositions of the Party's construction and economic construction, and the book also includes his discussions on ideological work and working style of the Party which are especially rich and precious. It provides an important studying material for Chen Yun's life and thoughts, and the historical experience of revolution, construction and reform led by the CPC.
