World History

A historical phase in the course of development of human society. Human history has two major phases of development: national history and world history. World history is the phase in which nations come out of their relative isolation and make human history jointly on a larger scale and at a deeper level.

World history is a result of the development of productive forces and has begun in the capitalist era. World history contains economic, political and cultural aspects and is manifested in the worldization of the productive forces, the internationalization of the scope of production and intercourse, the increased dependence of nations on each other and the unification of their modes of social governance. World history itself is also a constant process of development. The proletariat is the creator of world history, and communism is the inevitable destination of world history.

As an important sub-discipline of history, the main task of the discipline of world history is to examine the history of various regions, countries and nations in a comprehensive manner, and to study and explain the history of the formation, development and evolution of world history, as well as its trends and laws, by taking the study of the world as a whole as its field of vision.
